High temperature resistant agent
Under the action of heat, cellulose will undergo thermal degradation, resulting in hydrolysis and oxidative degradation of cellulose, resulting in decreased polymerization degree. It also produces the decomposition of cellulose in severe cases, and even carbonization or graphitization at higher temperatures. Because of poor heat resistance of cellulose, the use of paper and cardboard under high temperature conditions is limited. Adding heat resistant agent to plant fiber can improve the high temperature resistance of paper. Heat resistant agent is mainly used in the production of special paper with high temperature resistance, such as insulating paper (or cardboard), stainless steel lined paper, hot pressing plate paper.
